A follow up of our school project in Waterloo a suburb of Freetown, Sierra Leone 2016.
Our logo - SWANSON PRIMARY SCHOOL
We are now two acedamicyears away from our goal of establishing a complete kindergaten and an elementary school for the poor children of Waterloo a section of Freetown trying to rise from the ashes of the brutal civil war of the 90s and the recent impact of the deadly virous ebola which claim the lives of thousands of lives in West Africa including Sierra, Liberia and Guinea.. Up to date the Swanson Primary school has a kindergarten clases and an elementary section which includes classes 1, 2, 3, and 4. We will be adding class 5 next academic year and class 6 the following academic year to complete our goal of an elementary school for Waterloo. Some of our pupils are orphans of who lost their parents to the ebola virous. Our school has four female teachers who are dedicted to teaching our students giving them some of the best education in the country.
Thanks to our school many of the poor parents can afford to send their children to school a choice which is not easy for them because the resourses are not always easy to come by.
